Smart Hospitals Conference Concludes in Pune

The First Smart Health conference that focused on future of hospitals and smart hospital implementation roadmap concluded successfully at Pune. The one-day conference was organised by the collective efforts of Value Add Corporate Services; Hosconnn Consulting, X Factor Innovations and Hospaccx Healthcare Consulting.

The conference was held at Four Points by Sheraton Pune on October 6, 2018. The event was attended by 100 doctors, promoters and decision makers of small and midsized hospitals from across India. The topic of the conference was well received and there was consensus on the Smart Hospital Framework which focuses on Operational Efficiency, Clinical Competency and Patient Centricity.

The event had a number of industry leaders speaking on the central theme of the conference. Dr Mudit Saxena, Managing Director, Ovum Group of Hospitals,Bengaluru spoke about operational efficiency; Dr Dhore Patil, Managing Director, Shrihari Hospital, Pune spoke on clinical excellence and Rajagopal Director, Forum Business Research, Hyderabad spoke on Patient Centricity. Tarun Katiyar, Director, Hospaccx Healthcare Consulting, introduced the smart hospital theme.

One of the most interesting presentation was given by Dr Aniruddha Chimote , Director, Hosconnn Consulting who talked about how small hospitals can create their own blue oceans? Vivek Tiwari, CEO , Medika Bazaar, Mumbai and K Anand, VP, Sukraa Software Solutions, Chennai were some of the noted speakers.

A number of notable dignitaries took part in panel discussions and brought out various aspects of smart hospital implementation from strategy to revenue models. Noted panelists were Ram Natesan, COO of SRM Group of Hospitals, Chennai and Ashok Saraf, Jt. Coordinator, R&D (HWG), AiMeD.

One of the most interesting part of the conference was the unconference session where audience could interact and present their views and exchange ideas on smart hospital concept. Rajaraman, General Manager , Schülke; Anu Chaudhary, NABCB, Quality Council of India; Kosalraman, Director, Infrabees Project Management; and Dr Salil Choudhary, Director, HealthPod India, were some of the dignitaries interacting with the audience.

The event concluded on a high note with a panel discussing smart marketing solutions for the future where Chitra Bhaskar, Director, XFactor Innovations; Mohammed Iliyas , Director, BCC Healthcare and Dr Samir Jadhav, Director , Dr Sams Healthcare Consultancy presented their views.
