Star City Multispeciality Hospital in Kalyan, near Mumbai, has recently launched a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterisation lab equipped with the latest upgraded edition in their hospital. The facility will assist in various heart-related procedures like angioplasty, angiography, rota ablation, intravascular ultrasound, TAVI and other structural heart diseases, pacemaker, amongst many other procedures. The facility will also help doctors work with superior confidence and avoid technical hitches, as they will have an image-guided visualisation of the patient’s heart, automatically segmented according to the type of procedure recommended.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Pankaj Kasar, Cardiologist, Star City Multispeciality Hospital said, “We aim to create a world-class integrated healthcare delivery system, entailing the premium medical skills combined with compassionate patient care. The rationale behind the launch of the cath lab is to bridge this gap and bring the latest in diagnosis and treatment in Kalyan city.”
