Digital therapeutics startup Fitterfly nets $3.1 million

Fitterfly offers therapy services and connects patients with health coaches and healthcare providers through voice and digital touchpoints Indian digital therapeutics startup Fitterfly has raised $3.1 million in a pre-series A round led by Fireside Ventures. Venture Catalysts and its accelerator fund 9Unicorns also participated in the round alongside a group of angel investors from India, the US, and Singapore, according to a statement. Fitterfly is a healthtech startup that offers therapy services and connects patients with health coaches and healthcare providers through voice and digital touchpoints. Its current suite of products includes programmes that address diabetes, PCOS, obesity, pregnancy, and child wellness. Arbinder Singal, Co-founder and CEO, Fitterfly, said the company will use the fresh funds to expand its portfolio of offerings and invest in artificial intelligence-backed health-tracking tools. “The timely and relevant real-world data generated will enable beneficial interactions between patients, caregivers, and support networks to permit personalised and human-centric treatments with greater transparency and improved outcomes,” he added. As part of the investment, Fireside Ventures’ managing partner Kanwaljit Singh has joined Fitterfly as a member of its board. Fireside Ventures is an investment firm specialising in early-stage and seed investments. Its investment in Fitterfly marks its first in the healthtech space. Fireside has previously invested in companies such as BoAt, Mamaearth, Vahdam, and Yogabar.
