Ramaiah Memorial Hospital bags ‘ Quality beyond accreditation’ Award

Ramaiah Memorial Hospital was recently awarded the prestigious ' Quality beyond accreditation' Award at AHPI Global Conclave 2017 organized by Association of Health Care Providers of India(AHPI) at Chennai. Dr.Naresh Shetty, President of Ramaiah Memorial Hospital received the Award. The hospital has also been recognized for Nursing Excellence by NABH with a Certificate of Nursing Excellence. "Ramaiah Memorial Hospital has been in the forefront in ensuring Ethical & Quality practices for many years. It is one of the few hospitals in the country which has been accredited by NABH,NABL and recently recognized  for Nursing Excellence," says Dr Naresh Shetty, President, Ramaiah Memorial Hospital. There is no compromise when it concerns quality and Dr Shetty feels that in order to reduce the incidents of medical errors and to propagate evidence based practices, quality accreditation is the right step. "Our  future mission is to set standard of care in all areas of healthcare and this year we will be going for accreditation of Excellence in  radiology, accident & emergency and blood bank services. This will make us the leaders in quality in Healthcare," Dr Shetty said.
