Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital organises seminar on ‘In Vitro Maturation and Ovarian Cortex Freezing'

The seminar was organised in Association with The Mumbai Obstetric & Gynecological Society (MOGS) The Well Women Center of Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in association with The Mumbai Obstetric & Gynaecological Society (MOGS) organised a scientific seminar on In Vitro Maturation (IVM) and Ovarian Cortex Freezing (OTC). The seminar was led by Dr Firuza Parikh in collaboration with Dr Claus Yding Anderson Professor Emeritus and Dr Jesus Cadenas from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. The central theme of the seminar revolved around the new developments in IVM and OTC and the differences between In Vivo and In Vitro maturation of oocytes. The seminar was conducted recently at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital Mumbai. “With the advancement of technology in IVF, the Indian healthcare landscape will see paradigm shifts in treatment options for women who were previously considered infertile. This scientific seminar on OTC and IVM, with inputs from international pioneers like Professor Anderson and Dr Cadenas will break many barriers in our outstanding oocyte biology, thereby enhancing chances for pregnancy,” said Dr Firuza Parikh, Director, Well Women Center, Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital.
