To organise a global paediatric meet Apollo has collaborated with Boston Children’s Hospital, USA to organise PediSync 2023, a key conference for paediatricians. The two-day meet will synchronise all pediatric sub-specialities for the benefit of practising paediatricians and shine a light on advances in clinical care for improved patient outcomes. PediSync 2023 features a lineup of experts such as Dr Aditya Kaza from Boston Children’s Hospital and Associate Professor of Surgery, Harvard Medical School, Dr Ravi Thiagarajan, Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and Dr Kyung Rae Him, Assistant Professor of Radiology, Harvard Medical School. The conference will unfold over lectures, interactive sessions and panel discussions to highlight research and insights and unearth rich clinical takeaways for participants. The meeting will address key themes such as infectious diseases among children, pediatric intensive care, pediatric surgical concerns and robotic surgeries among children and see participation from leading and emerging practitioners. Suneeta Reddy, MD, Apollo Hospitals Group, said, “Apollo Hospitals is pleased to partner with Boston Children’s Hospital and bring together top minds from the pediatric space for this conference. We recogniae that children are an especially vulnerable category and paediatric care requires doctors with not just expertise but also acumen. We see PediSync 2023 as a platform that will spotlight cutting-edge paediatric practices and facilitate the vigorous exchange of knowledge and insight into fashion care models that are both contemporary and child-friendly. This conference is also aimed at underscoring the role of research in fostering a culture of innovation that is vital for improving clinical outcomes among children.”   Dr Anupam Sibal, Group Medical Director, Apollo Hospitals said, “Apollo has been a leader in pediatric care and has been the first to establish an integrated ecosystem – from fetal medicine to transplant. We were the first hospital in India to perform the first successful paediatric liver transplant in 1998 and have since performed over 500 successful paediatric liver transplants. Highly complicated pediatric robotic, pediatric and neonatal cardiac surgeries, bone marrow transplants, and kidney transplants are performed with outcomes comparable to the best published international outcomes. Our holistic services combined with the unmatched commitment of our specialists have set us apart in pediatric care and we want to share this experience and expertise with the entire community. This conference is not just an opportunity for us to foreground advances in pediatric care but also demonstrate our ability to unify experts on a reputed academic platform and discuss critical concerns.” Apollo Children’s Hospitals is committed to facilitating research and knowledge sharing, with over 2500 publications to the credit of their clinicians. The virtual platforms of the brand, PedScape and PedNext enable connect sessions with practising paediatricians and trainees across India.  The conference will be held from November 4-5 in Chennai. The event is being streamed live to enable participation by paediatricians from across the country.
