Vikram Hospital, Bengaluru Appoints New CEO Dr Somesh Mittal
Vikram Hospital, Bengaluru announced the appointment of Dr Somesh Mittal as its new CEO. The appointment is with immediate effect as Dr Mittal assumes his responsibilities in the new role. Vikram Hospital, Bengaluru is owned by Multiples, US 1 billion private equity platform spearheaded by Renuka Ramnath.

Dr Mittal is an alumnus of Faculty of Management Studies and brings with him rich clinical and managerial experience and he was, until recently, the Zonal Director of Fortis Escorts Institute overseeing four hospitals and five heart command centres across the Asia-Pacific region. He grew up in Bangalore and completed his medical education from Bangalore Medical College and his MS at Manipal.
Multiples turned around Vikram Hospital from a financially stressed asset to one of the finest healthcare providers in the city. Sudhir Pai, who was the CEO of Vikram Hospital and oversaw the turnaround, will continue to be a member on the Board of Directors of Vikram Hospital.
