Two Qualified Senior Neurosurgeons for SPARSH Hospital

SPARSH Hospital announced the appointments of Senior Neurosurgeon Consultants for its Neurology and Neurosurgery departments inorder to provide core support to the trauma center comprising of highly qualified & acclaimed neurosurgeons trained in both India & overseas.

Dr Guruprasad Bettaswamy and Dr Rajesh Raykar are the specialists appointed in the Neurosciences department.

Dr Guruprasad, who specialised in Neurosurgery, has over a decade of experience in this field, with a special interest in treatment of complex spinal procedures like CV junction anomalies, minimally invasive spine surgery and sacral tumors. He has completed Mch from SGPGI and went on to complete his subspeciality fellowship in Skull Base & Complex, with training in both endoscopic and micro neuro surgical procedures.

Commenting on the appointment, Dr Guruprasad said, “I am very excited to be a part of SPARSH Hospital. Working at the department of Neurosurgery, I aim to provide the highest quality of medical care and support for each patient through the healing process.”

Dr Rajesh, has gained extensive experience in Neurosurgery from prestigious institutions in India, Japan, Korea and Shanghai. He completed Mch from KMC Manipal and has gained over a decade of experience in complex neurological cases. He has expertised in handling Image Guided Surgery Stealth Station seven Navigation system to perform complex intracranial and spine surgeries and also specialised in Functional Neurosurgery and Chronic Pain Management.

Dr. Rajesh said on his appointment, “I am honoured by this appointment. I feel extremely fortunate to be able to contribute to the Neurological field and look forward to ensuring the continued growth of SPARSH Hospital.”
