Urban China to have highest diagnosed of non-small cell lung cancer over next decade: GlobalData
The cancer incidence will be followed by Spain at an AGR 2.22 per cent and the US at an AGR 2.13 per cent
Urban China is expected to have the highest number of diagnosed incident cases of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) among the eight major markets 8MM over the next decade (2019-2029), according to GlobalData, a data and analytics company.
GlobalData’s latest report, ‘Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer – Epidemiology Forecast Report to 2029, reveals that the diagnosed incident cases of NSCLC across 8MM are expected to increase from 0.79 million in 2019 to 1.03 million in 2029, at an annual growth rate (AGR) of 3.01 per cent.
Of the 8MM, urban China is expected to have the highest number of diagnosed incident cases in 2029 with 0.46 million cases, and increasing at an AGR of 5.32 per cent (2019–2029), followed by Spain at an AGR 2.22 per cent and the US at an AGR 2.13 per cent.
