US-based healthcare services provider- HCA Healthcare has inaugurated its first Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad with plans to invest USD 75 million by the end of 2025 and create 3,000 jobs by 2026.
The new Hyderabad facility, spanning over 400,000 sq.ft., will operate under HCA Healthcare – India and focus on strengthening talent across critical functions such as IT, supply chain, procurement, human resources, finance, and accounting. The center is expected to play a key role in supporting HCA Healthcare’s operations in the United States and the United Kingdom, according to the company statement.
The inauguration was led by Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, who was joined by Emily Duncan, Senior Vice President, Global Capability Network, HCA Healthcare, and Atul Kapoor, Vice President and Hyderabad Center Head, HCA Healthcare – India.
“We are proud to welcome HCA Healthcare’s first Global Capability Center in India, a strong endorsement of Hyderabad’s leadership and a milestone that will further accelerate our journey as a global hub for healthcare and innovation,” Sridhar Babu said.
Emily Duncan said the Hyderabad launch emphasizes the company’s commitment to developing global capabilities from India.
HCA Healthcare operates a network of 192 hospitals and 2,500 care sites across the U.S. and the United Kingdom. A part of the Fortune 100 list of companies, it employs 3,16,000 professionals and reported USD 70 billion in revenue.
