VR Occupational Health Clinic opens Occupational Health and CSR healthcare institution in Gujarat

IMT News Desk

VR OHC has introduced a Doctor-on-Call TeleHealth service, enabling factories to offer real-time medical consultation to employees, reducing absenteeism and improving preventive care outcomes

VR Occupational Health Clinic (VR OHC) announced the formal commencement of its operations as South Gujarat’s most structured and enterprise-ready Occupational Health and CSR healthcare institution, dedicated to strengthening workforce wellbeing, statutory compliance, and responsible corporate health initiatives.

Backed by over 18 years of clinical trust from the erstwhile Shreeji Clinic & Nursing Home, VR OHC already serves 100+ industrial units annually, conducting more than 25,000 workforce health check-ups and 100+ on-site medical camps every year across South Gujarat. The institution now expands with a scalable framework to deliver compliance-driven Occupational Health Services (OHS), TeleHealth doctor access, diagnostics and CSR health programmes, purpose-built for factories, corporate parks, and MSMEs.

“Our focus is to bring hospital-grade accuracy, ethical care, and statutory compliance to the gates of every factory,” said Dr Viren B Thakkar (MBBS, CIH), Founder & Medical Director, VR OHC.

“Occupational health is not just about annual check-ups, it’s about early diagnosis, preventive intervention and responsible workforce protection. Every worker deserves timely medical access, and every company deserves a partner they can trust.”

In addition to on-site health camps and periodic medical examinations under the Factories Act, VR OHC has introduced a Doctor-on-Call TeleHealth service, enabling factories to offer real-time medical consultation to employees, reducing absenteeism and improving preventive care outcomes.

Co-Founder Ankit Chothani, who is leading VR OHC’s strategic expansion across industrial clusters and CSR channels, added, “We aim to support responsible companies in going beyond compliance, towards measurable impact on workforce health, retention and community wellbeing. VR OHC is purpose-built to become the most trusted Occupational Health partner in South Gujarat and beyond.”

With operations based out of Surat, VR OHC will expand its reach across Hazira, Vapi, Bharuch and Ankleshwar industrial belts, supporting industries with OHC setup, statutory health compliance, TeleHealth, diagnostics, and CSR medical outreach programmes under structured medical supervision.
