Yashoda Medicity sets cutting-edge technology in radiation oncology
ETHOS with Hypersight & Identity, 30-channel Bravos Brachytherapy and Elekta Unity MR Linac have been introduced
Yashoda Medicity, the upcoming healthcare facility by Yashoda Foundations in Indirapuram is bringing cutting-edge technology to its radiation oncology department. The introduction of three world-class advanced technologies makes Yashoda Medicity the only hospital in the Southeast Asia region equipped with such revolutionising equipment.
Varian EDGE with HyperArc for precise and targeted radiation therapy. This cutting-edge system combines high-definition imaging with advanced radiation delivery. This technology ensures that patients receive optimal doses of radiation, achieving treatment effectiveness and reducing side effects.
ETHOS with Hypersight & Identity in revolutionising radiation therapy planning with precision. By integrating real-time imaging with adaptive treatment planning, ETHOS ensures that radiation delivery is precisely aligned with the tumour's position and shape throughout the treatment course. It improves the accuracy of radiation delivery and allows for adjustments in response to changes in tumour or patient anatomy, leading to more effective and personalised treatments.
30-channel Bravos Brachytherapy system for internal radiation therapy. This advanced medical technology delivers internal radiation therapy directly to a tumour. Unlike external beam radiation therapy, which directs radiation from outside the body, brachytherapy involves placing a radiation source directly inside or close to the tumour.
Elekta Unity MR Linac represents a transformative leap in radiotherapy, integrating a 1.5T MR-Linac system that combines continuous, anatomy-specific MR imaging with comprehensive motion management for precision. Elekta Unity utilises GPU-based Monte Carlo dose calculation to model dose distribution within a magnetic field, allowing for rapid replanning in minutes and facilitating swift, informed clinical decisions based on predictive insights.
