MediSim VR unveils Innovate 360 mentorship prog for school students on startups

The three-day programme provided students with an immersive and inspiring experience and learning about the start-up ecosystem

MediSim VR, a med-tech company, has introduced a pre-medical college level exclusive three-day programme – Innovate 360 – to provide high school students with a preview into hands-on practical and experiential learning which will help and guide them as a preview into the startup ecosystem. 

The objective of this unique programme is to offer high school students from various streams an opportunity to focus on innovation and creativity while providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the multiple aspects of startup business through a 360-degree learning approach to the world of immersive technology. 

“The Innovate 360 programme first batch had about six students, who completed the programme getting exposed to a platform for idea exchange and personal development and opening doors for their future career opportunities in the world of tech-based startups. MediSim VR combines the benefits of Virtual Reality (VR) and simulation to deliver immersive learning for medica learners in India. And right now, over 3500 students in India get trained in practical learning through virtual reality-based simulation training. This kind of programme we hope will help our PM’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and thus nurture the entrepreneurial ability of students in India from school,” said Sabarish Chandrsekaran, CEO and Co-Founder, MediSim VR.

Dr Gianluca De Novi, Director of the Harvard simulation lab, a pioneer and a world-leading expert in medical simulation is now also on board as Simulation Advisor for MediSim VR. MediSim VR is a part of the Johnson & Johnson innovation labs, Boston and IIT-Madras Research Park, Chennai.
