Apollo Diagnostics unveils processing lab at Tirupati

The laboratory spans over 1500 square feet
Apollo Diagnostics, a unit of Apollo Health and Lifestyle, unveiled its 140th processing lab, in the country, at Tirupati. Apollo Diagnostics has six patient care centres in the region, in addition to this lab, along with 115 more centres in Andhra Pradesh.
With a monthly processing capacity of over 25,000 samples, the new lab offers a broad spectrum of tests - from routine to specialised, including home sample collection services. The laboratory spans over 1500 square feet and comprises multiple divisions, including haematology, biochemistry, clinical pathology, serology and microbiology.
“Our new lab in Tirupati helps us improve the turnaround time on reports and also strengthens our position in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Patients can now receive world-class diagnostic services right here in Tirupati,” says Sriram Iyer, CEO, Apollo Health & Lifestyle.
