BeatO appoints Dr Navneet Agrawal as Chief Clinical Officer

He will head BeatO’s Diabetes Care Programs that empower people living with diabetes to manage and control their condition better

BeatO, a comprehensive digital diabetes care platform for controlling and reversing diabetes, announced the appointment of Dr Navneet Agrawal as its Chief Clinical Officer. 

Dr Agrawal will head BeatO’s proprietary Diabetes Care Programs. He is an MBBS, MD, Ph.D., FCCP, FIACM, Dip Diabetology with over 22 years of clinical experience and more than 16 years of teaching experience. He has published more than 100 research papers in several prestigious national and international journals. 

Dr Agrawal has treated over lakh patients hailing from metros, tier II and tier III towns across India and helped them to control and manage their diabetes. He has trained over 300 diabetes educators and imparted his rich and diverse experience to train and certify qualified and dedicated diabetes educators and doctors from across the country.

Dr Agrawal has designed the clinically verified BeatO Diabetes Care Programmes which provide personalized digital care solutions with proactive and supervised diabetes counselling by doctors and health experts on diet planning, exercise advice, and medication. The programme has over 25,000 enrolled users and is tailor-made for people with pre-diabetes, type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, and type 1 diabetes. The results of BeatO’s programmes have been published in top medical institutions such as the American Diabetes Association, ACPCON (American College of Physicians), ATTD (Advanced Technology and Treatment for Diabetes), and the Journal of Diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome and Obesity: Targets and Therapy.
