With over 30 per cent increase in the recent months, we expect this to increase by a further 15 per cent in the coming years.”

Dr Archana S, Regional Head – Clinical Services, Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital, Bengaluru, pointed out, “People mustn’t ignore the symptoms of dry eyes. If one has a burning sensation in the eyes, foreign body sensation, itching, redness, blurring of vision, discomfort, etc., one should immediately visit an ophthalmologist.
