Neuberg Diagnostics organises bicycle rally to create awareness on World Heart Day
As part of the bicycle rally, 50 cyclists from Connaught Place under World Heart Ride rode till Noida sector 62
Neuberg Diagnostics recently organised ‘World Heart Ride’ to raise awareness about cardiovascular diseases (CVD). Through the rally, Neuberg aimed to encourage everyone to know major risk factors related to CVD, the steps one can take to fight, prevention and control measures, and how kins can care for loved ones. 50 cyclists from Connaught Place under World Heart Ride rode till Noida sector 62.
Dr Amrita Singh, Chief of Lab Services, Neuberg Diagnostics, said, “Growing evidence suggests that cardiovascular disease incidences have gone up during pandemic. Interestingly, during lab tests, we observed that many individuals at risk of CVD were completely unaware of symptoms which usually consist of raised blood pressure, glucose, lipids, and obesity. Due to a lack of awareness, the early diagnosis did not happen. This further led to severe CVD-related challenges and premature deaths. For this and similar other reasons, at Neuberg, we have committed that we will continue to do our bit in creating awareness around health and wellness-related issues.”
Riders followed strict COVID-19 protocols during the World Heart Ride.
