Neuberg Diagnostics with Bose Clinical Laboratory to mark its presence in Madurai

The JV will establish 10 laboratories and 100 plus collection centres in the next two years

Neuberg Diagnostics and Madurai-based Bose Clinical Laboratory decided to form a joint venture to establish a state of art central Laboratory in Madurai catering to the needs of southern Tamil Nadu. The new company will be called Neuberg Bose Laboratories.

The Joint Venture Agreement was formalised in the presence of Dr GSK Velu, Founder and Chairman of Neuberg and Dr Puratchimani and Dr P Arivarasan of Bose Clinical Laboratory, A Ganesan, Vice Chairman, Dr Saranya Narayan, Technical Director & Chief Microbiologist, Aishwarya Vasudevan, Chief Operating Officer, Neuberg group were also present on the occasion.

The JV agreement between Neuberg and BCL paves the way for establishing a new state of art central laboratory besides upgrading the existing laboratory on Tamil Sangam Road. The JV company will also introduce new generation tests and will make available all high -end laboratory tests at an affordable cost. The JV will establish 10 laboratories and 100 plus collection centres in and around Madurai covering Madurai, Ramnad, Theni, Dindigul and Virudhunagar districts in the next two years.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr GSK Velu, CMD, Neuberg Diagnostics said, “The JV plans to invest Rs 25 crore in the next three years in Madurai and adjoining districts and make Neuberg Bose Lab an undisputed leader in Laboratory Medicine in Southern Tamil Nadu . The main objective of this JV is to make available the latest technology in lab testing to all sections of society at an affordable cost. The collaboration will further boost Neuberg’s footprint in every district of Tamil Nadu with an exclusive focus on Diagnostics and Wellness segments.”
