To introduce continuous wireless patient monitoring in Hassan, Karnataka

SSM Multispeciality Hospital, a leading hospital in the Hassan district of Karnataka, has partnered with LifeSigns, a health tech startup which offers continuous remote patient monitoring solution providers. LifeSigns brings advanced wireless patient monitoring to SSM Hospital by deploying its wearable wireless biosensor for continuous monitoring of patient vitals.

The solution from LifeSigns captures, records, and transmits crucial parameters such as ECG, Pulse Rate, temperature, heart rate, posture, blood pressure, and SPo2. This marks a historic moment for healthcare innovation in Hassan, Karnataka, as this is introduced in the region where patients will be monitored anytime & anywhere.

Dr Vinayak Narayan, CEO, SSM Hospital, said, “We are excited to partner with LifeSigns to offer a continuous wireless patient monitoring system for the very first time in Hassan. The primary goal behind introducing this is to improve patient experience and enhance patient care and satisfaction. Whenever a patient’s condition deteriorates, it gives an early warning to the doctors and nurses to address the patient’s condition well in advance and save lives. Over the years, SSM Hospital has been known for introducing technologically advanced medical facilities with an extensive focus on affordability and quality of care. This partnership is a step in that direction. We look forward to introducing many more such offerings to the people of Hassan.”

Dr Girish Chandra, Co-Founder & Director, LifeSigns said, “It has always been our mission at LifeSigns to bridge the gap between technology and healthcare. Our wireless monitoring solution not only enhances patient outcomes but also significantly reduces the likelihood of human errors, ensuring a more secure and effective healthcare delivery. The key advantage lies in the early detection of warning signs, paving the way for timely interventions and improved patient care. This collaboration will represent a significant leap towards a more connected and technologically advanced healthcare system in Hassan that is accessible to all.”
