Sukoon Health opens mental health hospital in Bengaluru

Sukoon Health, which opened India’s first NABH inpatient psychiatry hospital in Delhi, announced the launch of its first state-of-the-art mental health facility in Bengaluru. The launch of the Bengaluru hospital is its fourth hospital unit.
The inauguration of the facility was graced by the presence of Dinesh Gundu Rao, Minister, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka, who led the ribbon-cutting ceremony. His participation highlights the government's support for enhancing the mental health infrastructure and recognises Sukoon Health's role in pioneering psychiatry care services in the region.
Leading Bengaluru Psychiatrist, Dr Satish Ramaiah, serves as the Executive Director of Psychiatric Services and the Centre Head. Dr Ramaiah has contributed significantly to the field through his research in addiction, learning disabilities, and sleep disorders, with his findings published in esteemed medical journals.
