Dr KK’s Heart Care Foundation of India to organise 28th Perfect Health Mela from October 20-24

The theme for this year's event is ‘One Health During Pandemic Times’ Dr KK’s Heart Care Foundation of India, a national non-profit organisation, has restarted surgeries under its flagship project, the Heart Care Foundation Fund. The initiative was started under the leadership of Dr KK Aggarwal and over 300 heart surgeries have been done to date. Three lives have been saved over the past month and the idea is to help as many people as possible going forward. Speaking about the initiative, Dr Veena Aggarwal, Trustee, Dr KK’s Heart Care Foundation of India said, “We at Dr KK’s HCFI believe that through the right kind of awareness, timely intervention and financial support, a majority of the heart diseases can be prevented and cured. A special preference is given to young children.” “We are happy to be carrying forward Dr KK Aggarwal’s legacy and all the projects that he started. We will also be conducting the 28th Perfect Health Mela from October 20-24, 2021. The event will be organised digitally keeping in mind the ongoing pandemic and health and wellbeing of the masses,” added Dr Aggarwal. Speaking at the launch event, Naina Aggarwal Ahuja, Trustee, Dr KK’s Heart Care Foundation of India said, “Our theme this year is ‘One Health During Pandemic Times’ and we have a lot of exciting competitions, discussions and events planned during the five-day event. We look forward to mass participation in the event.”
