Trivitron Group donates Rs 2 cr to TN Chief Minister Relief Fund

The funds will be used for treatment, setting up emergency beds, supplying ventilators and oxygen concentrators to various cities across Tamil Nadu

Trivitron Group (Neuberg Diagnostics, Kauvery Hospital, and Trivitron Healthcare) contributed Rs 2 crores to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in Tamil Nadu to bolster India’s fight against coronavirus. The funds will be used for treatment, setting up emergency beds, supplying ventilators and oxygen concentrators to various cities across Tamil Nadu.

Neuberg Diagnostics launched various initiatives to help people and frontline workers such as doctors, paramedics, police personnel who have been on duty. In the past, it has offered free testing for deserving poor patients from all its labs and Bangalore rural police. It had also provided free testing for all from its Bangalore lab during the start of the pandemic. 

Dr GSK Velu, CMD, Neuberg diagnostics, said, “Unprecedented times like these bring society closer and call on us to be more empathetic and compassionate towards each other. As a group, we are doing our bit by supporting the current need for testing, treatment, ventilators, and oxygen concentrators. We will continue our efforts in this direction, and we urge all the corporates and industry bodies to come together and contribute to the cause of COVID-19 relief.”
