Cytecare Hospitals with Brains Neuro Spine Hospital launch neurosciences centre

The centre will offer services ranging from stroke management, pediatric neuro-oncology and neuro rehabilitation etc

Cytecare Hospitals announced the launch of a comprehensive neurosciences centre in collaboration with Brains Neuro Spine Hospital. The neurosciences centre was inaugurated by Malini Krishnamurthy, IPS, Principal Secretary to Government (PCAS), Home Department, Karnataka State, in the presence of Dr Ferzaan Engineer, Co-Founder and Chairman, Cytecare Cancer Hospitals and Suresh Ramu, Co-Founder and CEO, Cytecare Hospitals. 

The centre will offer services ranging from stroke management, paediatric neuro-oncology and neurorehabilitation to cerebrovascular surgery, stereotactic radiosurgery and comprehensive care for spine tumours as well as brain tumours. 

Dr Venkatramana NK, Head of Neurosciences Centre, Cytecare Hospitals, will lead the multidisciplinary team of doctors at the neurosciences centre. Counted among the first to establish a brain tumour bank as well as introduce cerebral microdialysis in India, the veteran neurosurgeon has performed over 30,000 surgeries in his career spanning three decades. 

Suresh Ramu, Co-Founder and CEO, Cytecare Cancer Hospitals, said, “In order to address the growing burden of neurological disorders in the country, we need to have multi-disciplinary experts under one roof.
