MSSO designs Medlegal Accreditation Program for doctors

The unique initiative aims to minimise medical errors and promote safety in healthcare

The ‘MedLegal Accreditation Program – For Doctors’ was recently launched in Lucknow. The unique initiative aims to minimise medical errors and promote safety in healthcare.

The programme which is designed by the ‘MedLegal Safety Standards Organisation’ (MSSO) will be offered to doctors throughout India by Reach52, an organisation working in the healthcare space across low and middle-income countries.

Edward Booty, CEO (Global) and Vivek Verma, CEO (India) from Reach52 and Ravindra Mangal, Executive Director and Agasti Mhatre, Chief Operations Officer from the Institute of Medicine & Law were present at the inaugural event.

The programme will help the doctor in identifying the potential danger areas and reducing errors in their day-to-day practice. It will also guide them on the medically and legally correct way of managing these situations. Doctors enrolled in this programme will continue to receive regular updates even after getting accredited.
