StanPlus appoints Gurjit Singh as COO

Singh will be leading the business, operations, P&L, and Growth Strategy for StanPlus

StanPlus announced the appointment of Gurjit Singh as Chief Operating Officer and Founding Member at the company, to build organisation capability for scalability and achieve the vision to build India’s very own ‘911’. Singh joins from Alvarez and Marsal, and has significant operational leadership experience in the healthcare delivery and consulting industry. Gurjit will strengthen StanPlus’s mission to provide quality and timely response technologies during medical emergencies across the country. 

Speaking on the announcement, Prabhdeep Singh, Founder & CEO, StanPlus, said, “We are delighted to have Gurjit join us in our mission to address the rapidly changing emergency needs across the country. Singh is an industry veteran who has diverse experiences across hospitals, diagnostics, medical devices, single speciality and allied healthcare models. He is truly capable of achieving organisational scalability and I am excited to build and grow the StanPlus business with him. With Gurjit and other senior-level appointments, we are geared for faster growth and scale.”

Singh previously has led multiple operational leadership roles during his 16-year career in the healthcare delivery and consulting industry across India, South Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. In his last assignment, he has also successfully led the healthcare operating and merger integration practice at Alvarez & Marsal as a Senior Director. During his professional tenure, he has worked across varied roles leading organisations, businesses and, operations amongst others, in tertiary and secondary care hospital chains like Fortis, Nova, and Sakra. 

At StanPlus, Singh will be responsible for leading the growth, business, quality, and operations to build and position StanPlus as a tech-lead clinical services organisation playing an active role in saving lives.

Singh said, “StanPlus wants to solve a key problem in India- the ‘Care Delayed Care Denied’ paradigm. At StanPlus’ I want to take forward the ‘Golden Hour’ fundamental. I am excited to be a part of StanPlus’ quest to build the ‘911’ of India. We aim to build StanPlus as a ‘Clinical Services’ organisation playing an active role in supporting our hospital partners in building their emergency response and also speciality programs such as integrated air ambulances, stroke and STEMI network and organ transport.”
