Cyient Foundation commits Rs 2 crore to The Asian Healthcare Foundation

AHF will use this grant to develop innovative healthcare solutions through its basic science and research facility

The Cyient Foundation (the CSR wing of Cyient) has announced a contribution of Rs 2 crores to The Asian Healthcare Foundation (AHF). The contribution will be disbursed over four years. AHF will use this grant to develop innovative healthcare solutions through its basic science and research facility associated with The Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG). AHF is recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India, and is also rated as a leader in Healthcare R&D.

Speaking on the announcement Dr BVR Mohan Reddy, Founder Chairman, Cyient, said, “As Cyient celebrates 30 years of Excellence, we are strengthening our promise to all stakeholders toward Designing Tomorrow Together. While Cyient is delivering technology innovation to customers, our CSR team is committed to nurturing social innovation. I am pleased that we can support AHF to further its innovation programs to create a healthier tomorrow for our communities.”

Commenting on the contribution from the Cyient Foundation, Dr D Nageshwar Reddy, Chairman, Asian Healthcare Foundation and AIG Hospitals, said, “Support from organisations like Cyient Foundation will go a long way in helping us create cutting-edge healthcare solutions and conduct research in critical areas of medical sciences.
