Manyata certification is based on rigorous training on the clinical standards for quality improvement
Delhi’s Fortis – La Femme hospital has received the Manyata certification. Manyata is a quality improvement and certification initiative by the Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI) which ensures private facilities adhere to WHO recommended quality care standards and provide safe and respectful care to their patients.
Dr Sunita Arora, Obstetrician & Gynecologist & Infertility Specialist at Fortis La Femme Hospital, said, “Manyata allowed us to not only re-emphasise the protocols but also be more organised than we were before and helped us to introspect ourselves. The curriculum is comprehensive, and the training sessions are structured in such a way that everything is explained simplistically but at great depth. Overall, it has been a fulfilling programme for our nursing staff.”
Renowned gynaecologist and infertility specialist, Dr Hrishikesh Pai, who is also the chief administrator of the initiative said, “Manyata certification is based on rigorous training on the clinical standards for quality improvement and an even stricter round of assessment so that certification is awarded to only those facilities which are providing the optimum level of care.”
