EBITDA for Q1 FY22 has been registered at Rs 547 million
HealthCare Global Enterprises (HCG) has announced its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2021. The consolidated income from operations (revenue) has been registered at Rs 3,231 million as compared to Rs 1,935 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, reflecting year-on-year growth of 67 per cent.
The consolidated profit before depreciation and amortization, finance costs, exceptional items and taxes (EBITDA) is at Rs 547 million, as compared to Rs 221 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, a growth of 148 per cent year-on-year and 25 per cent quarter-on-quarter. The consolidated Operating EBITDA is at Rs 512 million, as compared to Rs 194 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, a growth of 165 per cent year-on-year and 30 per cent quarter-on-quarter. The Operating EBITDA for existing centres is at Rs 531 million, a growth of 109 per cent year-on-year and 21 per cent quarter-on-quarter, reflecting an Operating EBITDA margin of 21 per cent.
Operating EBITDA loss from the new centre is Rs 19 million, as compared to a loss of Rs 61 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year and Rs 46 million in the previous quarter, a reduction of 68 per cent year-on-year and 58 per cent quarter-on-quarter. The consolidated PAT was a loss of Rs 96 million, as compared to a loss of Rs 398 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, a reduction of 76 per cent year-on-year.
