The Himalaya Drug Company, a leading homegrown wellness brand, launched its new range of intimate care products for new mothers and mothers-to-be – Himalaya Intimate Wash FOR MOMS and Himalaya Intimate Wipes FOR MOMS. Himalaya has become the first-ever wellness brand to carve out a niche category of herbal products for new mothers and mothers-to-be. The intimate care range of products is enriched with Tea Tree Oil, Pongamia Oil, Lavender Oil, and Lactic Acid, which help in restoring the vaginal pH balance.

During pregnancy and post pregnancy, hormonal changes in the body can lead to vaginal infection, irritation, and bad odour. It is important for new and expectant mothers to regularly maintain healthy intimate hygiene practices. Himalaya’s intimate care range of products containing anti-fungal properties is designed to help new and to-be moms maintain vaginal hygiene naturally.

“We are happy to enter the intimate hygiene segment with our products specifically designed for mothers and mothers-to-be. Himalaya FOR MOMS products are clinically tested to ensure that it is safe for mothers and mothers-to-be. The Himalaya FOR MOMS range focuses on catering to the needs of mothers by offering products to help them maintain hygiene with well-researched natural products at an affordable cost,” said Dr.Subhashini N.S, Natural Product Innovations, R&D, The Himalaya Drug Company.

“It is advisable to use intimate care products that contain lactic acid. Lactic acid helps in maintaining the ideal pH balance in the intimate area. In addition, products containing natural ingredients help in preventing dryness, itchiness, and irritation, and make the intimate area less prone to infections,” said Dr. Subhashini.

Himalaya Intimate Wash FOR MOMS and Himalaya Intimate Wipes FOR MOMS come in pack sizes of 100 ml, 200 ml and 10s, 25s respectively.
